my korean friends!: unforgettable :D

July 2011 when I first step on Phil. Anemone International School which was located in the northern part of Puerto Princesa City it was unforgettable moment in my life. first because i will meet new people,people who are different from me hahaha..! they were fair and i am dark, they have smaller eyes and i have big ones. i'm a filipino and they're koreans..what???yes! they are. It was a great opportunity for me, i was then so happy teaching them english even though I'm not so good in it. At my first day there i met new friends they are my co-teachers we came from different universities different places and maybe it was coincidence meeting them there. hahaha..! all of them are smart and intelligent, first i'll introduce to you Sheila :) she's a nice woman,very good teacher and so religious we were batchmates at my university same with Frenz on the

middle of the photo she's generous, kind and charming..we use the same room and sleep together it was so happy being with them. then i met the other teachers like julie,ana,rose,jessa they are the ones who are really intelligent. . . i love these people they are great blessing to me after a year we are now separated by time living in different ways but still keeping in touch. I don't know how could I live on that school without them spending the night laughing and giggling before we sleep. we ate together on the long table while talking about our experiences with our students.

every weekend it was our time to go back to the city/downtown as they call it. visit our family and do our stuff. hhahaha..and on sunday were excited to go back to AIC to see them again, then monday starts, time to do our job teach them ESL/English subject.

At first I was nervous because of their names we cannot identify if they were male or female. As i was looking on the board I saw the first name it was Lim,Yoon Jean and because it was a Jean i prefer it was a woman and I was like praying that she's a good person and I hope she'll like me, as what I have expected she did!

Here the story goes, when she appears at the door I saw a fair young woman who was then 17 yrs.old, a university student who's majoring in Finance (all of them are from Soongsil University taking up Finance) with cute little eyes, fair skin, good height, cool fragrance and of course a curly hair which is shoulder length. I never doubt that she's a good person, I was then afraid to speak maybe I'll be wrong on what I say but after an hour I felt comfortable speaking with her, Jean was a little bit shy on our first day, I remember teaching her how to say "would" and she'll always say "ud"... there was a time I was so sick but then I still went to class to teach them, I was coughing and sneezing time to time it was very shameful I feel embarassed, I was teaching my third student Tak when someone knock on the door and i was surprised I saw jean, she bring me water not just water she used her own tumbler and lent it to me, I was shy to accept it but she told me to use it and drink from it so I'll feel better.

Jean is so simple as you can see in the picture,she's really nice and caring. I know she's intelligent as of today ( 06sept2012) she's in Georgia as an exchange student, see?she's really smart.! before they leave Palawan she speak english well than before I met her.
She gave me remembrance those cute things and an inspiring letter. Sometimes at the cafeteria she'll call me and wave at me, she's really sweet. she has her close friend who is Rebecca, once it was break time they didn't leave the building instead we seat on the room and chat with each other I tell them funny things and how me and my boyfriend met hahaha.! crazy.tell me about it! xD
well, i know i'll see her again in the future, we still keep in touch. I miss her actually all of them :))

my Second student was also a woman but at first when i heard her name I thought she was a boy,really :) cause her name is Jeong Sae na. She was really really really a shy person, I remember how we met at the door of our room, I step out searching for my next student it was almost 5 mins. after the bell rang but there's nobody coming over. then a tall lady appear beside me wearing denim shorts and tshirt with her bag on the shoulder, her eyes a bold and small, cute lips wearing her black eyeglasses. She wanted to speak but she don't know what to say and how to start, both of us were in the middle of door I was asking her "is this you room???" she answers "ummmmm" and I told her "stay here and I will go down to look for your room" she answer " no, it's ok, it's here". then she comes in, we start the room was so silent no ones speaking the I introduce myself, and she answers me well. she also introduce her self to me, what were the thing she likes and what does she expect for one month staying here in the Philippines.

As times go by in the school we've been friends, Julia and I spent our time in the room laughing, chatting and of course studying.. my subject with her is Make Your Point, there will be pile of questions to be asked, sometimes she need to gave her own opinion about a certain case. She answers well and talk a lot whenever were inside the room, but whenever i saw her with her friend she's to shy to speak. I ask her why does she feel awkward being with them, she told me because she was different, she's not rich like them and not beautiful. Julia's a pessimist always think that she's not one of them. but I always told her she's pretty those eyes, nose, pretty lips made her face pretty, that she need to be grateful of those perfect face, she doesn't need to compare herself to anyone because each of us are made different but we have a worth that any of us doesn't have. I remember Julia teach me how to write in Korean and sing one famous korean children song "the Gom song" hahahaha... cute little bears, I will never forget how she teach me patiently. Sae Na saranghe!!! Before we part our ways Julia gave me a letter hahaha..with cute little bears drawing, she also told me in the letter how I teach her how to speak "tagalogue" hahahaha...tagalog instead. this geek woman is now all grown up. hopefully I'll meet her again with her boyfriend..xD

Next, Park, Hyun Sang the man with tiger frame eyeglasses, the son of University Proffessor's (his Umma and Oppa) a cool person and funny!
He was friendly, as a first male student I was nervous being with him on the same room but then my nervousness ceased because he treat me nice. When I was sick on my days there after the weekend when we came back to class he gave me a present a pink tumbler which will I use through my entire stay there in AIC. He always bring me chocolates and other food heheheh.. :) hyunsangii..pokoshipah!

p.p. stands for park and the other P stands for phenomenon which was the meaning of his name.

I will never forget hoe we use to laugh on the room about silly things and also about the woman you once like her name is Honda bay right??? kidding!!!
hahahahaha..!!!

P.P now serves military service in the U.S.A, tak told me about it.
since then I just connect with P.p. using facebook. miss you pal!

third student is Lee You Tak, I was so lucky then having him as my student, he's a man whom you'll fall inlove with. Man on the next door.That punk! I remember when he first came in my room. He smell smoke, smoke of cigarette for me it was thumbs down.. he wear Sando on the room showing his muscles. I'm not a perv!! I just notice it hahahahaha..! Tak, is really handsome for me, he's also intelligent he told me a lot of things about the history of north and south Korea how they became divided. he also told me about the consequences of serving the military services of S.K. Tak loves his body as he says if he would live again he would want to return to same body.Days passed we became friends he shares his experiences in life with me

how much he regret not studying hard during his highschool days, he felt a little ashamed because he was left behind by one level, still he believed in himself that he can be a better person in the future, I remember when we tackled a lesson about women, who do you prefer a woman who is beautiful but not so intelligent or a woman who is not so pretty yet intelligent.. what do you think is his answer, of course he'll choose a woman who is not so pretty but intelligent.. during our last days in AIC tak and I always play inside the room sometimes I shout because of shock and happiness.. I know Tak is a good person, and as of this moment like P.P he's also now serving in the military service, Tak and I communicate using social media these days, he often sent me message and telling me about his experiences there. It was fun meeting him. I also miss him like the others :D
Tak now always read books as usual Korean books :) (see on the picture how handsome he is? hehehehe.. )

My last and final student is Park Min Gyu, intelligent person, cute,funny and a little serious in life.
we spent our days in AIC enjoying each others company even though I felt a little tired during our hour, Rich always makes me feel alive he would throw away jokes and then make me laugh out loud. On our first day of class because I was so tired he told me "teacher, I'm sorry but I cannot understand you anymore" ahahaha..i felt shy that time, I was his teacher but then he can't understand me. Rich is my only student who always bring his ummmmm..... hi-tech dictionary if he don't know the word that he wants to say he'll just open his hi-tech dictionary and find the word there :) cute.

Rich is so funny I remember him imitating spongebob his voice were really similar hahaha..! that's why I try to draw spongebob,patrick and squidward... of course it's not good. xD

We finished our days in AIC watching several movies such as the test and matrix revolution all episodes :) he teach me some korean games like the baseball game (all about numbers) huhuhuh..i always lose the game it was hard for me because I am not good in mathematics then some other games.

he wanted his English name so much because in the future he really want to be Rich that's why he study well and listen very carefully in the words I say, I think somehow he learned from me. (hope so! )
